LAASN is an network of like minded organisations operating in London supporting 1 in 3 London artists in 60% of London Boroughs. Working to support each other, share best practice and advocate for our sector.

We are united in the determination to continue to deliver high quality studios and workshops to fine artists’, craft and designer makers living and working in the capital at affordable prices.

LAASN was considered as an idea late in 2017 by Space, Second Floor Studios & Arts and ASC. As the challenges of 2020 unfolded the sector felt more strongly than ever that an advocacy and lobby group was needed to both define affordability and speak more broadly for our sector and for those we support through the provision of studio workspaces.

AFFORDABLE STUDIO PROVIDERS COMMIT TO DELIVER STUDIO SPACE AS AFFORDABLE AS POSSIBLE ON A NOT FOR PROFIT BASIS. THEY COMMIT TO DEDICATING AT LEAST 80% OF THEIR SPACE TO ARTISTS AND MAKERS.
